Growth Through Connections was a project funded by Janus Henderson that used the lens of Dr. Christoper Emden's Book "For White Folks Who Teach in the Hood" to create and study the impact of a teacher training program based on Dr, Emdin's teachings.

Created and managed a district-level computer
coding camp that engaged the community
members as teachers and mentors.

What if we rewarded student empathy and
philanthropy like we did sports? The Parade
Magazine All American Team nationally awarded
young people who were changing the world
through community service. The LEAGUE Partnered with PARADE Magazine to do just that.

With growing public discontent with Denver Public Schools' student achievement, we created a Design Challenge to engage the community in helping solve some of the most pressing challenges facing Denver Public Schools.

League of Leadership is a pitch that won the Denver Public School's Design Challenge. These young minority men expressed how disenfranchised and unseen they felt within the school system. The pitch was to have an all-day male leadership summit led by minority male students for minority male  students. I worked closely with the students to execute this now-annual event.
